Ingredients:
2lb round steak sliced in 1 inch cubes or strips
1 clove of garlic minced
1 small bag of baby carrots cut in half length wise
2 TBS flour
4 TBS sugar
2/3 cup soy sauce
1 cup white wine
1 bell pepper sliced in 1 inch strips
1 can sliced mushrooms
1/4 tsp pepper
1 can sliced water chestnuts

Directions:
Mix wine, soy sauce, garlic, sugar and pepper, set aside.
Brown round steak. When I say brown I mean lightly brown it.
If you overcook the meat at this step it will be tough. No one
wants to eat tough meat!
Pour the set aside mixture over steak and turn the burner to low
heat
Add carrots, bell pepper and mushrooms
Simmer on low heat stirring occasionally for approx 1 hour or until
carrots are tender (put a lid on it)
Add flour to thicken sauce stir in well ***a sifter works well to keep
the flour from clumping
Add water chestnuts
Remove from heat
Serve over cooked white or brown rice
